Dos Chavos Tex-Mex Bar & Grill in Rowlett

I dropped off a passenger at dos chavos the other day. So I decided to stop in and try their food. It is great all made from scratch the refried beans are made from scratch the Spanish rice is made from scratch. The salsa roja is delicious just a little bit of bite the salsa verde is excellent it will light you up if you're not careful. Nice restaurant. The bartender met me as I walked in the door she politely greeted me and welcomed me in as told me I could sit wherever I like I decided to stay one or two taller tables and then she brought me a man you want a glass of sweet tea. The lady that owns the restaurant does everything from scratch this is one hell of a restaurant. Dos chavos is at the southeast corner of rowlett road and highway 66 where the old brookshire's used to be and they also have a Sunday brunch

Love the food and service here. The margaritas are excellent. My husband bought me dinner tonight for Mother's Day! Had the tomatillo beef enchilada and beef taco! Excellent! Also got a margarita - amazing! The owners and staff are excellent - this is a family-owned business! Thank you!

This place is so good. The owners really care about there customer's. I have had alot of things on the menu and everything I have had was awesome
